Samantha Chaikin, DO, has been caring for the children of East Texas for more than two decades. Dr. Chaikin attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO, and graduated in 1994 with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. She then completed a Pediatric Special Emphasis Internship at Ohio University at Doctor's Hospital in Columbus, OH. She completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Chaikin is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and on staff at both CHRISTUS Good Shepherd and Longview Regional hospitals. She and her staff are committed to providing the most advanced pediatric medical care with courtesy and compassion. "I love what I do for a living," says Dr. Chaikin. "I could not think of having a career other than that of a pediatrician. After more than 20 years of practicing medicine in Longview, I am at a stage in my career that I have the pleasure of taking care of the children of former patients. It is such a rewarding experience to see my patients grow into adults and start their own families. I look forward to continuing to take care of my patients, their families and future generations for many years to come."

Hello there. My name is Tori Johnston. I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I joined Premier Pediatrics in December 2021 and I am very excited to be a member of Dr. Chaikin’s team. A little bit of me. I am a native of East Texas. My husband, Nathan, and I moved to Longview in 2008 with our 2 children. Since that time, our 2 oldest have graduated and now have families of their own. We are proud grandparents of 4 wonderful kiddos ages 9 months to 6 years. In 2019, Nathan and I adopted our now 3-year-old daughter. We definitely have a full and busy life. As for my nursing career, I have been a nurse for over 20 years. Over the years I have worked in a variety of settings including home health, outpatient clinics and as an inpatient nurse. In 2019, I earned my Master degree in nursing from University of Texas at Tyler in 2019. After receiving my degree and adopting my daughter, I found myself being drawn to pediatrics. I have always loved children and enjoy watching them learn and grow. Joining Premier Pediatrics has been the best decision for me. I am very passionate about providing the very best care to the patients I serve. I look forward to meeting you all and gaining your trust as a provider.
